i shaved off my antenna cuz i hate antennas but now my radio sucks and i want internal antennas like the new preludes any info let me know and price and where to get them thanks

and i dont want none of those little antennas that stick out of ur rear window

buy a glass antenna from radio shack, and put it on your rear window, looks like a defroster i heard, or, take some thin guage wire, and make your own antenna and run it up one of your pillars but the windshield

I have the glass antenna in my car, and it's useless. What you should do is get an inline antenna amplifier. It is supposed to go inline between your antenna and head unit, and amplify the signal. You should be able to hook it up to your antenna wiring, even though the actual antenna is gone. That should help. Also, if you get a new head unit with good FM sensitivity, you might not need any antenna. My friend's civic with a kenwood mp3 head unit doesn't need any antenna at all...

i'm using the factory internal antenna and it works lovely, i'm not sure if all the cars have one, do you remember taking off a thin grey cable when you took out the factory radio?

hey.. remember when you took out your standard head unit?? well..there is a little grey wire that you took out, along with a black one.. these are both for the antenas you have in the car.. if im not mistaken,.. all 95 and up eclpises have a rear in-glass ant. its attached to the grey thin wire. ,. trick is to use a in-line signal amplifier from radio shack.. its pretty cheap.. about 20-30 bucks for a good one.. you shouldn't have any problems with it then.

I'm using my rear window(diversified) antenae and am happy with the signal. But I can see it not being good in more remote areas. I tried with and without an amplifier. The amplifier along with amplifying the signal, ampified the backround noice. So if you want to amplify it I would suggest using a noicee suppressor too.

get a xm equipped radio and not worry about that.
