I just installed an aftermarket deck and now my antenna won't go up anymore. There was one extra wire that I could not hook up since there was no place for it. It was a small silver wire that plugged into the back of the stock deck. Does anyone know what that wire is and where it connects to. I really don't get that many stations since the antenna wont go up.

Sounds like you forgot to hookup the antenna lead for the deck. It should be labeled on your wire harness adapter and you should have a wire coming of the deck that should get connected to it. Basically in a nutshell when you radio comes on the antenna is not being supplied power hence why it is not going up.
