ever since me and my friend installed my panasonic head unit last summer it wouldnt remember any settings after i turned the car off for longer than 20-30 seconds.. i have to manually turn on the cd player when i start the car up even though the h.u. should just turn on by itself. i'm guessin that i dont have one of the wires hooked up right. i have my yellow (batt. power) wire hooked up to the blue wire and the red (acc.) hooked up to the red wire. do i need to hook up one of those wires to a constant power source? and if so where? also if i am totally off base, can somebody help me out here?
BTW, i have the RS sound system with no infinity upgrade.

Well as for the aftermarket deck is concerned, the red wire is the switched power wire, and the yellow is the batt wire. Sounds like those 2 are backwards, and the unit isn't seeing the constant power to keep memory. Try reversing the wires, this should take care of it.
