I'm going to get my alarm done at Tweeter... they do good work there. I think I'm going to get the Clifford G4 alarm but I don't know where to get the brain mounted. I was thinking in the dash... is that possible? Where would be a good place? Thanks.

Well i found a very good place under the radio. You have to take off the center console and all that to get at it, and not many thieves will do that much work to get at the alarm. Most will look first under the driver dash area, and even if they steal your radio, you can tuck it in there pretty good. Its the best place i have found anyway.

I put mine under the passenger seat... I had to take out the seat to get it in there, but it isn't a place a theif would be lookin' to snip the wires.

Under the center console is good. Just make sure you put some type of vibration damping around it. The brains can be a lil sensitive to excess vibration. If you have a radar sensor though you wanna put it a lil further away so the sensor doesn't freak out. we pulled my dash during the entire stereo/alarm install so mine is mounted in the upper left side of the dash right under the stock tweeter location, if you have time it's a good spot. Otherwise you can always put it underneath the back seat, a friend of mine did that and sealed it in one of those old school lock boxes for the old pull out chassis head units. Just some ideas to go from......good luck!!
