our dash fits a standard single DIN without modification right? no install kit needed besides the wire harness? it still throws me off that crutchfield says everything is incompatible with our cars... >.<

No for an aftermarket radio you need an adapter kit for the radio too.

It depends on what radio you have, some of the RS's came with an OEM pocket under the radio. If you have that then you just need a wiring harness adapter. If you don't then you'll need a dash kit as well, but any radio will fit in that car whether it be a single or double din.
