#12786, "Need new headunit?"

Whenever i turn the volume up on my headunit, my speakers make a horrible crackling noise, only when the bass hits. I thought i may have blown them so i swapped them with new ones and they still make the same noise. I even ran new wires from the speakers to the headunit. Theres nothing touching the magnet either. I have 5.25 powerbass speakers. Any help on how to fix this promblem will be helpful. TIA!
