Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum and I need your help. I have a 98 gs 5 speed, kenwood double din headunit, alpine v12 4channel, polk momo class d, monster 4 and 2 ch rca's. Great set up but I have a terrable buzzing noise coming out of my speakers but only when the car is in 1st or 2nd gear. I have no idea what this could be so I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Mighty Mike

hmmmmm....are your RCA's running next to your power wire? if so, re route them to either side of the car. It shouldn't have anything to do with the tranny.

Try bigger ground wires on the amps and clean the grounding points really good with a wire brush or something. Could also try changing where you connected the remote wires to. Like if you are using the remote turn on from the radio, try hooking them up to an unused Acc. terminal from your fuse box.
