I know hat I can get the 6x9 speaker pods from MS Recycling...about 30 min. from my house...but if I want to save the $$$ and just use a Dremel...what size should the depth be of the 6x9 that I am goig to put in there???...I'm looking at the Sony Xplod XS-V6942 4-way 6x9's...the depth on these I believe is 3 1/2" (will they fit with no hesitation???)...also would you guys recommend me just getting the pods and saving some worry (and $$$)...or do it myself???

i dremeled out the stock holes.. no problem and an easy job.. for the depth, just measure the depth of the hole to the frame (make sure to leave some room so the magnet doesnt hit) and if it fits.. i say go for it.

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^
