Hey guys, ive seen many battery/alternator mods on here. What im wondering is, what do i need to run this:

-All stock components (electric everything)
-Aftermarket stereo cd player
-rockford fosgate amp, 150watts rmsx4ohm, ill have 2 speakers, wired to 2 ohms, so 150 each @ 2 ohms, 300rms total
-One of those 12v converters, to power an xbox
-one 7inch lcd screen

My alternator is currently the stock 90amp
brand new battery

if i have to do too much, im about to say screw the sub woofers, my alpine type-s door speakers/6x9's already sound amazing with enough bass however i do enjoy alot of bass, so yea just post like, if its safe to run all that, or how you'd do it, all ive wired is a small system in my old eclipse, this is going to be a bit different

Stuff: Xbox, 7inch tft screen, 2 12inch infinity 1242w's, poweracoustic amp, pioneer HU, Tokico HP struts/springs, buddy club p1 perforance II plus 17inch wheels

I think a .5f would be a waste of time. Grab a 1f. Whenever I get around to throwing my Alpine v12 back in the car I'll probably throw a 1f in there to help reduce strain on the alternator. BTW, I was running 900w peak and 500 RMS on the stock alternator and a battery that is 7 yrs old with no problem. The only time my lights dimmed out I was sitting still. Once up to speed it was no longer a problem.

wait, what? who runs batteries and caps at the same time? that defeats the purpose, you do either or

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

Uhh no. Caps are there to supplement the power coming off of a battery. Capacitors resist changes in current flow. When the power drops below what the system is require they discharge some of the stored energy they contain. This is why capacitors are used heavily in the electronics world to help clean up dirty power.

Here is an article that will help explain this concept.

What do u guys think of farad cap brands, i remember sum1 saying that it shouldnt matter much, i found a 1 farad cap a walmart for $73.56 and was wondering if i should spend the $150 on the rockford .5 cap, or buy the $130 1.2farad power acoustics one or if the $73.56 one at walmart was fine, i mean technically its just a capacitor, that has a voltage guage on it, so... its not producing sound, only providing power to help the amplifier produce the sound right? and as long as it doesnt mess up it should be good? or no. Thoughts please.
