#11451, "What amp to push my sub?"

I am getting an Infinity Perfect 12" sub along with some Infinity perfect 6x9's. What amp would work best with this setup? I don't know jack about systems, so please help me out, I only want something that's going to run these well, no extra stuff that I'll never need. Thanks in advance.

Is it a dual voice coil or single? I'm looking at the Infinity website for specs but I need to know more about the sub and speakers in order to figure stuff out.

I need more info on the speakers in order to figure out what amp you need. Based on the numbers from the Infinity website for the sub the following would be good amps for the sub.

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=258

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=251

http://www.xtant.com/html/products/xtant6.1.cfm

That's just a start. Good luck with everything man. Like I said, once I have more info on the speakers I can look for an amp to power those.

Xtant makes quality stuff. That would be my choice. But any of those three ^^^^ would be good. Who can argue with JL.

eclipse, jl and xtant make some very clean sounding amps, stay in the 350-500 range to start with and ull be okay, get a 1 farrad cap just to be safe

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

What do you all recommend for a nice set of front door speakers? Thanks for all of the help.

I like the Kappa Series myself. I don't know if I have heard the JL or not. When it comes to speakers for the front go with another set of Kappas or get a component set. Good luck.
