I just bought a couple of new CD's and my CD player will play some of them but not all of them. It pops up "e 01" and spits the cd back out. I don't understand because they are new CD's, not burned or anything.

That may be it. It's the new Ludacris and the new T.I. They will play occasionally, but not very often. I also think how cold it is outside has something to do with it. When it's cold, I have a hard time getting it to play anything

Right when you put it in, hold down the fast foward button until it starts playing, or push skip forwards or back. It works most of the time, just fiddle with those.
