I currently have a pioneer cd player and want to add an omnifi mp3 player. I would like to install the faceplate for the omnifi directly below my pioneer head unit. Does anyone know how to fit two single din components into the factory double din opening? Does someone make a bracket for this?

They do make kits but are not sold at that many places. I'm sure you can search and find some , i've seen them at circuit city and best buy b4 (however they still are car specific, don't know if they'd have it for our cars), call em and see if they may have one. However, if you can't find any then i've had to do this many times: order the double din dash kit, it'll come with a bottom section that'll look like a cubby hole, usually that section is removable and i just take it out, if its not removable then i jus dremel it off (leaving the outline), take some banding pieces with holes in it (i just use universal exhaust hangers), cut the pieces to the length you would need to connect it from ur cd player to whatever else your putting on (also sometimes you dont need the banding because the factory hole will have a metal piece to connect it to). It would take some fabrication and is actually very easy. Just in case you can't seem to find any around you could use this method. I'd check with circuit city and best buy b4 using this last resort even though its farely easy.

Actually the brackets in our cars are designed to do this, but the problem is you won't be able to use both of the trim pieces. Get a piece of textured ABS (usually circuit city has 12" squares for $5) and make your own trim piece.
