I am going to install a remote start/security system and I was just wondering if this looks like a diagram that I should go off?

I was suprised how many wires I picked up around the lower steering column area. It made things pretty simple on my 98 except for doing a fancy lockout on the manual transmission for remote start. Next time I'll just do magnetic switches like everyone else.


While your down there under the steering column here's a quick simple tip for making the key reminder chime silent when you have the key in the ignition with the door open. It's easily reversible and doesn't affect any other systems.
