Is there a problem running two subs in the same airspace? Every box I have used has always had separate sections. I know it is done, but I didnt know if there was a difference or not.

as long as you are runnig a mono signal (same signal to both subs) there isnt a problem (running a stereo signal could lead to minor differences in each subs output, leading to some cancellation). even if they are in stereo, it wont hurt anything...just not sound as good.

more importantly are two other things:

1)without the divider, bracing can become an issue in larger boxes. make sure that there is no flex at all in the box.

2) if one of the subs were to fail, you couldnt run just the other sub because the airspace would be doubled (and the bad sub would act as a passive radiator). you would need to buy an individual box for the one sub. of course..thats just in case of failure, nothing much to worry about.
