I wouldn't use it but, thats just me ... Pioneer makes some decent priced amps that are all around good not the best but, there good. Also isn't there a nice AudioBahn amp listed.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi- colored uppers, downers, screamers,laughers... Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.

Pyramid amps suck! That so called "400watt" amp probably puts out about 100watts and it is probably very distorted. Go with an amp made by a reputable company. Stay far away from anything pyramid

I would agree with all of them above. However, it all depends on what kind of sound you want. If you want a lot of bass, youll want an 800 watt amp that will push them, or if you want something that puts out just a little so you get the full effect of music, then no less than 400. It all depends on what you want.
Since you have Pioneer subs, I would suggest a Pioneer or Alpine amplifer... check into those not Pyramid.

From my personal experience with pioneer subs, they respond well to a lot less power. Meaning you wont need 800 watts to power them probly more like 300watts will sound good.
