#65, "RE: DSM/EVO SHOOTOUT OFFICIAL EVENT DETAILS" In response to In response to 3
You forgot to add a new class. This one will excite a few people I know.
MAX EFFORT -New for this year. The Max Effort class combines autocrossing and drag racing. -You will need to read the classes listed BELOW and pick the class your car fits into. Once you have chosen your class put ME/____followed by the class on your windshield followed by the number on your tech card. **For example, my tech card number is 100, my car is a non stock appearing turbo'd EVO. I'd put ME/EE 100 on the windshield. -You will then proceed to either the autocross course located on the west side of the drag strip or to LANE #7 to make your drag strip passes. Your best ¼ mile ET will then be combined with your best autocross time at the end of the event for a total which will place you in your class. -Any tire can be used. You can also change tires for your drag runs and autocross runs. -Also NOTE, the MAX EFFORT class is COMPLETELY seperate from the normal drag race classes. It has NOTHING to do with the drag classes listed above. -Owner of the car must drive the car in both events, NO other drivers permitted. -The schedule for each of the classes is listed below:
*Morning schedule will run from 9 am to 11:30 am
DSE-Non-stock appearing turbo, AWD/FWD DSM's only. ESA-Stock Appearing turbo only, EVO 7, 8, 9 and X's. Bracket 1-Standard Bracket 1 rules apply. ET's for the drag portion must be quicker than a 12.99.
*Afternoon schedule will run from 12 pm until 2:20 pm
DST-Stock Appearing turbo only, AWD/FWD DSM's only. EE-Non-stock appearing turbo, EVO 7, 8, 9 and X's. Bracket 2-Standard Bracket 2 rules apply, ** NOTE that you can NOT post an ET in the drags faster than a 13.00 second run. If you do your submitted drag time will NOT COUNT towards your total.
