Not really a new member (been around for about 10 years). I bought my black '97 GS new. I've spent many hours/dollars customizing the car. It's been a fantastic car. My goal has always been to go turbo. About 5 years ago I had my second water pump go out and decided that was the time to do it. I started acquiring parts, stripped just about everything forward of the firewall and disassembled the engine. Then we had our first child, so the car sat. Fast forward 5 years, we've now got 2 kids and my car has not been touched, sitting under a car cover in my garage.
I'm considering selling the car now. It kills me to walk out in the garage and see my baby stripped down sitting under a car cover. Now that we're a family of 4, it doesn't make sense to keep it. I don't have enough posts to post in the for sale section, but I'm curious if there would be any interest in the car. I'm not interested in parting it out, I couldn't do that to her. I would rather lose a little more money or keep her than to part it out. The body and interior are in excellent shape, the odometer reads 130K or so miles.
