If you had a FP gauge you would see fuel there or not. If you had an egt you'd be able to tell how hot your getting and how fast.

With stock inj. and 12:1 on my sfmu I used to get to 1500* pretty quickly. I'd say 8-10 seconds.

Thats cause I wasn't running 11.5/1 afr. I was probably running 13.9/1 or some shit. Sure it was 'rich' but it just wasn't rich like it should be. Cruising on the highway at 80mph I would be at like 1300-1400* degrees. That left little to open it up cause I would be running too hot in a couple seconds.

Then I used 450's running 3:1 and I could boost for twice as long and get up to much higher speeds on the highway. I would cruise on the highway now at 1050-1100* and could then floor it and the egt would slowly rise up and almost chill right around the 1400* mark.

I never had a wideband but I'm sure I'd still be driving my car if I did. I might not have blown up ;p
