I was driving my 98 RS-T yesterday and when entering the freeway i was speeding up to get with traffic. Before i even got onto the freeway my car was spooling up and the whine of boost was high(was @ 6500rpm). Then all of a sudden i heard a huge PFFFFFFT!! total loss of boost....embarassing. I pulled over and saw the piping directly coming out of the turbo to the piping of the inlet side of the intercooler came loose. It's a 2 1/2 inch C hose that came off from both ends. I took off the airfilter to get to it and re-attached it and put everything back together. HOWEVER now that I try to spool up the turbo it doesn't sound like before and it doesn't kick as much either. feels stock now
