I commend your backyard setup. I really do. It does take a bit of knowledge to set something like this up. It also takes time, patience, and skill which not everyone has or wants to deal with.

That being said, I still support Jason on this one. I am going to use your statement of saying you can run 16psi on your setup as a perfect example. A CT-26 is smaller than a 16G. It is a rather small turbo that falls off on the top end (for MR-2's it does) and produces a lot of hot air at high boost levels which will limit its lifespan at the same time creating unecessary extra heat. It was designed similar to the T-25 on a second gen 4G63 to have quick spool up for daily driving and the average consumer who did not like the turbo lag feeling. MR-2 ( I know yours if from a Supra but please spare me the grief of explaining why that does not matter) guys get excited when they make around 240rwhp at 17psi. The turbo on the Japanese spec 3GSE is the CT20B which is capable of high 200's rwhp. In fact, I find it absolutely amazing that you would need an external wastegate to control a turbo that comes from the factory with an internal and does not flow enough to warrant an external. You have to run 16psi on that turbo to make comparable power of a S16G at 10-12psi. I am not even going to mention what a T03/T04E would make as it is a different league. The research put in by the manufacturers let them know this when designing the kit.
