You dont NEED bigger injectors, but why not add something like 330's and have that extra safety margin? They are not that much bigger so they can still be made to idle fine. Has your friend ever looked at his fuel pressures? At the flow rates of his pump(s)? I would rather not be checking my fuel lines AS often ( you still want to check em no matter what). I ran the Star for almost 50K miles and about 3-4yrs. @ 10Psi. It can be done, just very carefully.
