Agreed. Listen to people who have actually done these things. It will be fine. My calipers have been painted for years and even the Eclipse wording hasnt come off.

OK Deej. Your right it will hold up fine. But we were talking about after you have new tires put on and the shop has to pop your center cap it will start chipping no matter what you do. Just a heads up! But dont listen to me as i have no idea what im talking about because ive never done it before VVVVV

BlackMagic, From now on you should just PM DJ with these questions to save us the trouble of answering your questions incorrectly. This was prepped as good as you can prep a wheel and shot professionally. But has also been daily driven through three winters, so what do you expect.

how did they manage to mess it up around the center cap, did u paint it with the center cap on then it chipped off when they were takin it off?

did they try to pry off the center cap instead of taking out the lock in the back and pushing it out
