Well, yes the screw strips easy. I just drilled out the screw and replaced it with a nut an bolt. No big deal. The screws holding the housing together also stripped so I just took one to the hardware store and replaced all of them in both housing. Easy! I went out and bought the screw extractor bits from craftsman at sears to complete the job. They're a little pricey but they work.
