actually i think it was the other way around. it was against there rules to not allow a buyer to come pickup the item instead if they chose to or something.. people were ripping some people off with low bid prices and really jacked up shipping prices. the buyer would ask if they could just come and pick it up instead of paying shipping but the seller would say no since that was how they were making their money. i think the seller's not allowed to tell the buyer no if the buyer wants to come and pick it up now...
