The pits are between the exhuast ports and dont look like anything foreign got in there.

The 1st and last cylinder areas have the same pits in the same area, but the one closest to the cam gears is the worse. I got a better pic of it over the weekend. Ill post it up as soon as I get home to see. I cleaned the area up with a dremel and wire brush.

It almost looks like a lot of little balls of solder dripped into a hole. Maybe a bubble when the head was cast.

I dunno. Ive started looking for a bare 6 bolt head for the time being.
