All fmics heat soak. Even the $1,000+ fmics. I have personal experiance with this since i tune quite a few cars around where I live. Like what was said earlier, You can't go wrong for $200. Pipe beading is a must. Also the clamps they send you with this kit suck. They are very fragile.
