for the line, you want to tap here:
you can run the line up through the steering column boot. It's real easy. Just tape the end of the hose to a coat hanger, cut a little notch in the boot and stick it through. Make sure it won't rub on anything. You can tap the power wire to the light in the ashtray and ground anywhere. It's pretty easy. Don't make fun of my circus colored hoses and zipties...
edit: I'm assuming this is for the 2G GSX. If it's for a 1G, It's a little different but same idea...
