i doubt it has anything to do with the timing belt, pullies or the clutch. those are all hardware that would have no effect on stuttering or misfireing. try you plug wires and check your plug gaps. maybe the distributor. you may try to keep on with filling gas. if the gas is mixed in, it may take a while to get rid of it all. good luck.
