Wait it out. Thats my opinion. I didn't jump all over the '97 GSX at my shop for $6,000. Instead, I got a '91 VR-4.
The way I see things, cars and racing is an addiction. I bitched so much to get my GS-T. I had a 95 GS, decent, but it wasnt turbo. I got a GS-T, turbo, decent, but I still drove by RX-7s, Supras, and VR-4s and said "man I want that car"
So, where am I now? I drive a VR-4. I drive by RX-7s and anythign else in my small town and I'm like, "its good to know I got 2 turbos now, and I can keep up with, if not beat a lot of cars out there" I laugh whenever riced out Eclipses drive by me.
Think about where you wanna be in a couple years. A 3rd 2nd Gen Eclipse woulda kept me still thinking "what if I had a twin turbo car?" So i finally got a twin turbo car.
If it's your dream to take a car to the max, then go for it. I wanted to turbo my GS, but got a GS-T instead. I wanted a GSX, but got a VR-4 instead. The next step for me is a Skyline, LOL. No, I'm gonna mod up my VR-4 and be happy with that car.
