well, when shocks are stock (or blown) you float a lot more. My car bounces up and down like 3 times after hitting a bump... on stiff shocks and springs.. it's "bouncy" because you feel every bump.

I personally wouldn't recommend coilovers unless they were true coilovers.. and those can cost up to 1000 bucks.
