It does make a difference (with f&r strut tower braces) on a car with stock suspension I noticed alot less wheel hop and it felt stiffer going thru corners. As for the rear tie bar I just installed a pilot one. I got it for 45.00 from http://jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=140429
