#33389, "Brake Bleeder Screw Size"

Had some trouble tracking down the correct bleeder screws for my calipers. Every parts store catalog listed the bleeder screw size as M10x1.0. The only on my car that could use this size is my clutch slave cylinder.

My rear calipers use M7x1.0 bleeder screws. My front dual piston calipers came off a 3000GT SL, and have the same bleeder sizes up front. Strangely, referencing bleeder screws for that model also returns a M10x1.0.

Mitsubishi used a host of bleeder screw and brake line combinations throughout the generations so pay attention to what size you need prior to shopping.

I had to search Dorman's online catalog by size to find part number 484-161 | M7x1.0x38.55 mm.
