Little more than you needed to do. Since stock rotors already have 2 threaded holes for bolts to go into to remove them.
So all you do is just insert a bolt into the threaded holes on the rotor and tighten the bolt down and the bolt tip will contact the hub assembly and force (POP) the rotor off..

But yes a great tip anyways..
