#1684, "New to this handling thingamajig!!!!"

Hey guys, I know a lot of stuff about my engine and all but one thing that I have no idea of are handling upgrades (specifically coil-overs and suspension system). I wanna make my car handle better and have more stability during take-offs, but I also DO NOT want a vehicle that's too low. I was thinking of getting a coil-over kit at speedpeople.com. My cousin tells me that if I get a coil-over kit, sooner or later, I have to get new shock or struts or something!!!!! Can someone please help me point in the right direction? What do I need or to look out for? Any precautions? I'm also planning to roll in a set of 16's. I just also ordered the V-Racing carbon fiber front and rear strut bars. What's the deal with these polyurethane bushing kits or something?? Oh yeah, I drive a 99 RS. Thanks for helping out a newbie to this field!!!!!!!!!!!
