#14278, "RE: 4 piston rear brake kit, Who would be interested?" In response to In response to 3
well, I will be purchasing a kit from TCE for the front. a 13 inch disk with wilwood billet superlite 6 piston calipers in january so i was inquiring about a rear kit to match. Honestly i think a big ass wilwood caliper in the front constitutes a big ass wilwood caliper in the rear. just to keep the theme flowing. I have toalked with Todd over at TCE and he has cave me several options. being that our rear disk has a drum brake inside for the parking brake, the larger disk option would be very complicated. i was thinking more along the line of a stock rear disk with a 4 piston wilwood NDL caliper or maybe an AEM rear disk with the NDL caliper. Honestly i think for the rear that a stock size disk with slotting and the 4 pot calipers would suffice. If we go to a larger disk then the brake bias may change, but i'm not sure about that. Todd does recommend that we change over to the GSX master cylinder though if we were to go this route given the increased piston size. lates james
