I'll tell ya what. After putting my 14's back on for the winter, launching the car is so much easier. I can def tell it takes off quicker,and there is less rolling weight (my 17's did weigh more). IMO, a 17" wheel mates perfectly with our cars when dropped 1.5" or so. There are even times I wish i went with a 16" wheel, mostly for performace reasons. Def dont go over an 18" wheel. You want performance and handling, go 17" or less. You want some bling, do what you like
