I have the $60 brake pads from Raybestos.The ones with ceramic in them.I can autocross all day long and they don't fade at all.It's just high speed braking when I notice the brakes fading.I can run from 60-0 all day long(exaggerating) and they won't fade.

And as for cold rain and hot brakes causing your rotors to warp,I wouldn't know.It only rains twice a year here.And it's hot rai
