i had to change a bent lug stud once. i just took a hammer to it and broke it off. then i took a pointed chisel and popped the other piece out. the new one was a bitch to get all the way in. air tools help out a lot here. if your careful you can take the nut, turn it around and use the air gun to pull the bolt through the hole. it worked for me. could possibly strip it though. jeff
