Take a mallet(or a hammer but be careful) and pound lightly on the ball joint, upwards, to make the arm of the balljoint tight into the steering knuckle. Basically you are making the joint get "pressed" into place, which should be enough so the damn thing doenst turn on you. I did this on mine, and it worked good, since the arm is taperd that fits into the knuckle hole, you make it tight so it doenst turn.
