#138641, "Deleting stock ECU?"

First off, hi guys. I'm new here. Well sorta; I frequented the forum like 5 years ago but I've been gone for so long that i feel brand new again - even forgot my password and despite the site saying it emailed me a new one I have yet to receive any emails so I just up & made a new account, lol.

Anyways, I've currently got my motor out and am doing an engine bay overhaul I have MSII (not sure what version though; I bought it a few years ago...) and have read here and there about people using MSII as a full standalone and then deleting the factory ECU. I'd LOVE to do this but I'm not certain what all is required to do it successfully. That's where, hopefully, you come in! What are the steps to make this happen?

Thanks for any tips
