So I am experiencing blue smoke during idle. Most likely a result of worn valves seals.Looking to increase oil thickness until I fix problem. Will 20w50 oil be too thick or should I go with Rotella 15w40?

Id probably just get that thick stuff they call Bees Wax, stop smoke, etc. from like Autozone or something. Its just a band-aid, and a temporary one at that, but it helped my car with burning oil before the rebuild. You just add it to your oil instead of filling the entire crank case with it.
