Hey guys, I have a kinda ####ish question. Long story short (the long story is below, sorry I'm kinda wordy) my car had blue smoke so i figured id start diagnostics by replacing the PCV valve. Although, I'm not sure which hose is the PCV valve. I included a picture with the 2 hoses that are connected to the intake. I am fairly sure the PCV valve is the one connected to the intake manifold, but I don't know what the other one is. Here is a picture with the two circled. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1601413&l=50b20f7f4a&id=1611069090
Now for the story time. The other day I was accelerating hard out of a bend and up a hill, and i noticed behind me was a trail of blueish smoke. I didn't lose any power, it just started smoking. Luckily I was a minute from my house so i pulled in my driveway and it was still smoking. I let the car idle for a minute or so, and the smoke faded out. So i hopped online and did some research. I am not sure if its something major like either rings or a head gasket, or something simple like a pcv valve.
So I figured start small with the pcv valve and work my way up. Well when I took a look under the hood, I noticed there was oil dripping out of my air filter. I then realized my air filter was HORRIBLY dirty. So I thought maybe the filter was so dirty, I was attempting to suck air through my pcv valve, causing it to suck oil which then dripped down to my filter. Which then lead me to my originial question.
