I know that. I was just saying something that came to mind after-the-fact. How could the SAFC adjust idle when it's not set to do anything until after 10% throttle? To me, that sounds like they set it up to do everything but fix idle.

The only thing the SAFC has the ability to change on our car is to alter the MAP signal and all those settings are in reference to when and how and how much it alters the signal. that (sic) is all.

Yeah. That's what I thought.

Not to sound like an ass but... Sounds like this car and its tuning have gone beyond your ability. You might need to back off playing with it until you understand some more of the fundamentals of tuning and building. If you don't know what SBR did (and it doesnt sound like they have a clue about the 420a) then you might need to step back and find someone who has more tuning ability in your area that can help you get all these basics worked out.

My philosophy is to get the car running right before trying to tune it. Kind of why I've had my MSnS sensors installed since last April and not gone much further than that; I still have problems to solve. Fortunately for me, none of them affect drivability, they just result in a bit of smoke from time to time...
