i dont mean to steal the thread, but my car is doing the exact same fucking thing except it does it really bad in first. and its getting worse. i was thinking it could just be plugs and wires but then i read this and there is all this talk about coils and o2 sensors and shit.

could it be a different problem since mine is only doing it on take off rather than through the gears? cuz i was also thinking it might be transmission related....
