Yea 4.5 qts.

And whoever told you a qt per cylinder is a fucktard.

If that were the case most V engines would be starving of oil right now.

And you dont need to prime the filter with oil, just screw it on. The 420a probably has the easiest oil to change evAr.

Everything is right where you need it.
