#125970, "RE: 95 GS No spark not the ECU" In response to In response to 6 Jun-05-09 06:04 PM by thedawg
Other items discussed in chat: 1) You changed the ECU in your 9/94 ("late 95" production) car from P5269656 = (Eclipse) FED W/MT FROM 6/16/94 to P5269730 = (Sebring, Avenger, Talon) FED W/MT FROM 6/16/94 This should work as the two cars were identical for those two years but the ECU Part numbers should always match if possible at all. http://car-part.com is an excellent source.
2) CKP or Crankshaft Position Sensor is "Connector A04" in the FSM diagrams. With the tab at the top, pin one is to the left, pin 3 is to the right... Pin1 is yellow (8v source) (Should connect to pin4 on 95 ECU, verify yellow wire) pin2 is black with green stripe (ground) (Should be pin 11 on ECU, verify) pin3 is blue with white stripe (5v signal) (Should be pin 25 on ECU, verify!)
