I had to choose a new clutch when I turboed my car. I did a ton of research and didn’t want to run a CM unitnfor the reasons you stated. I ended up making the switch to non-modular with a stage 3 south bend clutch. It was money well spent! Plus in the future replacing parts will be cheaper. Modular clutches are expensive.
