First of all let me tell everyone that I am just a prototype expeditor over here at NVG. I kinda took this on as a pet project, seeing how I just bought my '02 Neon R/T. However, I do have the resources to get technical questions answered and possibly influencing future designs. Though, that takes alot more than me, as well as, alot more money. I will address the issue of the "plastic"(need I say more), as well as, the taper bearings, and the blocker rings(syncros) and the diff.

Let me start off here, syncros are notorious for being a weak point in high power motors. Thus, race cars skip them.

Just think you could be driving a Getrag. My '91 Stealth spit one all over the ground and at my cost (which is significantly less than most) it hurt my wallet.
