#7540, "RE: Need help regarding clutch pedal" In response to In response to 13
Okay. What the fuck.
All issues with that gay lock pin aside, the rebuild of the clutch master went off without a hitch. Got it reinstalled and had Vanessa help me to bleed the line this afternoon. Upon pedal being pushed to the floor, the clutch is not fully disengaging. I can slip into gear, but the wheel that is off the ground begins to rotate and the engine bucks (stalling out). I have...
bled the clutch some more (clean fluid coming out, no bubbles at all)
adjusted the shaft on the master twice, to the point of the pedal bottoming out the master and no longer activating the clutch safety switch (which I have temporarily disconnected)
Still, same issue. Seems like the slave is barely moving under full pedal depression. What am I missing? Fluid is fully DOT3&4 compliant and there are no leaks in the system that I can see.
Clutch began to engage/disengage all the way at the bottom of the throw and I had the tell-tale fluid leak under the dash. Experience and the search confirmed it was time for a rebuild. Should I just pick up a new master?
Anyone have any ideas? This is fucking annoying. TIA.
