Basically, with a stock convertor, the engine revves to a certain RPM before the car takes off (stall). If you get a higher stall convertor, the car revves to a high RPM before taking off. Therefore you get quicker take-offs and get into your powerband faster. IMO well worth the money. I know that my auto is slow as hell and could use one.
